Which filter(s) do I have to replace?

Answer

Philips air purifier comes with multiple filters. The appliance is equipped with HealthyAirProtect Alert, it warns you when filter must be replaced. When one of the filters is almost full and has to be cleaned or replaced, the appropriate filter replacement light starts to flash to prompt user to replace concerned filter.

To replace a new filter, follow the steps as below:

- when filter replacement light 1 flashes, you have to clean the pre-filter. You can wash it under running tap and air-dry it before installing it back. Alternatively, you can clean it using a vacuum cleaner.
- when the filter replacement light 2 flashes, or is on continuously, you have to replace the multi-care filter (for air purifier AC4004 only). This filter cannot be washed. After replacement, make sure you reset your appliance. - If the filter replacement light 3/4 flash or are on continuously, you have to replace both the filter 3 (activated carbon filter) and filter 4 (HEPA filter). Both filters cannot be washed. After replacement, make sure you reset your appliance.
