Frequently asked questions

Question

Why does the sound from the Surround on Demand (SoD) speakers become softer when the SoD speakers are docked on the main speakers?

Answer

When the SoD speakers are docked on the main speakers, the sound system would become 3.1 mode from 5.1 mode. To maintain a good balance sound in 3.1 mode, a specific frequency range would be compressed down on the SoD speakers when they are docked on the main speakers. This is the reason why the sound output of the docked SoD speakers would become softer.
