Step 1: Reset the player
If the problem is not solved, proceed to next step.
Step 2: Format the player
(1) Files stored in the device would be deleted after formatting.
(2) Skip this step in case the player cannot be switched on.
If the problem persists, proceed to the following.
Step 3: Repair the player
Repairing erases all the files in the player and restores the player to factory settings.
Step 4: Charge your device for at least 20 hours
If repairing via Philips Songbird does not work, charge the player for no less than 20 hours. Most of the unresponsive players can be recovered using this method.
