Why is my player not detected by the Device Manager?

You may have selected cancel when the Found new Hardware wizard popped up on your first time connecting the device to PC in recovery mode.
In order to get the unit detected again by the device manager, please run the device detection patch in the attachment of the FAQs "My player is not recognized by PC" and try connecting the device again to the PC while pressing and holding the key to enter the recovery mode to see if it can now be detected by the Device Manager.
