What can I do when my computer does not recognize my player?

Answer

First switch on your computer and then connect your player with the supplied USB cable.

All commonly used operating systems will automatically detect your GoGear player as a Mass Storage Class device. Therefore you do not need to install additional drivers or other software and have instant access to the files in your player.

If your computer does not automatically detect your player, try to reset the player by inserting a pointed object (e.g. a pin or a paperclip) into the opening on the side that is marked ´RESET´.  Then switch your player off and back on and try to connect it to your computer again.

If your computer still does not detect your player after a reset, try to connect the player to a different USB connection and to a different computer in order to verify if the problem occurs for other connections as well. 

If other computers fail to detect your player as well, it may be broken and we advise you to take it to your dealer for an examination.
