Check if the brewing unit is clean. If it is not, rinse it according to the instructions in the user manual, using a small brush to clean the guides and part of the filter. Do not use a detergent. Rinse the brewing unit at least once a week (image 1and 2)

After cleaning, you have to grease the piston of the brewing unit according to the instructions in the user manual every 500 coffees or once per month,( Image 3 and 4 ):

Also the guides must be lubricated (image 5 and 6):

 You have to clean the brewing unit with a Saeco detergent tablet according to the instructions in the user manual after brewing 500 cups of coffee or once per month. After cleaning with a Saeco detergent tablet, always grease the guides and the piston of the brewing unit.
