Question

My GoGear has no power or shows nothing on the display.

Answer

  • The battery of the GoGear may be empty; recharge the GoGear with the AC/DC adapter connected to a power outlet.
  • You may not have held the Power On/Off button long enough. Press and hold the Power On/Off button until the display turns on (approx. 3 seconds).
  • If nothing works, try doing a soft reset. Press and hold the Power On/Off key and the volume + key for a couple of seconds. Note that your songs and data will not be lost or corrupted by a soft reset. Recharge the GoGear again with the AC/DC adapter connected to the power outlet for at least 30mins and then try switching on the GoGear with the Power On/Off button.
