For FM radio reception:

• If the antenna is telescopic, fully extend it and adjust its position for optimal reception.
• If the antenna is a cord (This kind of antenna is also known as FM pigtail antenna), stretch it as straight as possible and adjust its position for optimal reception.
• If possible, locate the device near a window.
• Keep the device as far as possible from other home appliances such as TV, electric fan, micro-wave oven, cell phone etc. to avoid radio signal interference.

For AM (MW) radio reception:

• If the antenna is built inside the set, turn the whole set in different directions for optimal reception.
• If your device is equipped with an external AM antenna, connect it.
• Keep the device as far as possible from other home appliances such as computers, fluorescent lights, neon lights, microwaves, televisions, cell phones, and cell phone chargers etc. to avoid radio signal interference.
