What are “Charge only mode” and “USB storage mode”?

Answer

They are different modes of how the device is connected to the PC.

In “Charge only mode”:

The display shows “USB connected”. The device can play files at the same time when it is being charged.

In “USB storage mode”:

The display shows “USB storage in use”. It is possible to copy, sync, or move files between the computer and the device. However, files cannot be played by the device under this mode.
