Before you remove the basket, always put the pan on a stable horizontal surface*.

Important: Never press the basket release button while shaking or carrying the pan.  
If you press this button while shaking or carrying the pan, the basket is released from the pan and may fall on the floor.


Steps to remove the basket:

1. Pull the pan out of the appliance (fig.1). 
2. Place the pan on a stable horizontal surface (fig.2).
3. Press the basket release button (fig.2).
4. Lift the basket out of the pan (fig.2).

*If the surface on which you place the hot pan is made of heat-sensitive material, for instance plastic or laminated wood, we advise you to place the pan on a pan mat or pot holder.  
If your worktop is made of heat-resistant material, for instance marble or metal, you can simply put the hot pan on the surface.
