Question

What should I do if I am not able to connect my unit to the Wi-Fi network even after I have entered the password?

Answer

Firstly, make sure you have entered the password correctly. Most of the Wi-Fi access point passwords are case sensitive.

Secondly, please try a different authentication/encryption method supported by your Wi-Fi access point.

In other words, you may select one of the following:

  • WEP
  • WPA (TKIP only)
  • WPA (TKIP+AES)
  • WPA2 only
  • WPA or WPA2 (auto switch)

There is a possibility that one or more authentication/encryption methods in your Wi-Fi access point do not work with the unit. If that is the case, choose another.

For instruction on choosing and setting the authentication/encryption method, please refer to the user manual of the Wi-Fi access point.

Note:
After changing the authentication/encryption method in your Wi-Fi access point, settings in other devices (e.g., computer) that have previously been connected to this Wi-Fi access point need to be changed also.
