Easy-start (R) helps you get used to electric tooth brushing by gently increasing (ramping-up) the brushing power during the first 14 sessions. The toothbrush must be switched on for at least 1 minute during each session to properly move through the easy-start ramp-up cycle. After the 14th brushing session the toothbrush will have reached its optimal brushing power. The Easy-Start ramp-up feature is active in both the Clean and Sensitive modes, but not in Massage mode, the Go Care routine or the Max Care routine.
There is no audible or visible symbol that Easy-start is enabled.
Easy-start can be disabled, for instance when you are already a frequent Sonicare user:
• Place the handle into the charger.
• Press & hold the power button for 2 seconds. You will hear 1 beep to indicate that the Easy-start feature has been turned OFF and you will hear 2 beeps to indicate the Easy-start is turned ON.
