My goLITE BLU is not working properly. I set the light and after a few minutes the light resets to different settings.

Answer

It is possible that the goLITE BLU is in DEMO mode. Look in the LCD screen to see if ‘DEMO’ is shown above the battery symbol. If so, then the appliance is in DEMO mode. This mode is used to demonstrate the goLITE BLU energy light in shops. In this mode, you can:
- adjust the light intensity
- switch the appliance on and off
- set the alarm
- set the treatment time
If the appliance is not operated for 3 minutes, it reverts to its demo mode default settings.

To switch off the DEMO mode, press and hold the on/off button for 10 seconds. The goLITE BLU will be switched off. Keep pressing until it switches on again and the word ‘DEMO’ should disappear from the display. The appliance is not in DEMO mode anymore.

To activate the DEMO mode, make sure this appliance is switched off. Put the adapter in the wall socket and insert the appliance plug into socket on the appliance. Press and hold the on/off button for 10 seconds until it switches on again. The word ‘DEMO’ should appear on the display.
