For iPod/iPhone, dock directly onto the speaker.

For other external devices, use the MP3 link feature:

1. Connect the supplied MP3 link cable to the AUX IN connector at the back of the speaker and the headphone connector on the external device.
2. Press the MP3 link button on the remote control to select the external device as the source.
3. Use the controls on the external device to play music or other content.
