Make sure:

• The region code of the disc matches the region code of your player; and
• The latest firmware is installed in the player. 

Installing the latest firmware in the player helps to ensure optimum Blue-ray disc playback performance. Before you update, read the Firmware Upgrade Readme File on the Software and Drivers page.

1. Go to www.support.philips.com.
2. Enter the model number of the player.
3. Click on Software and drivers, on the left of the page to access the firmware update. If no update is displayed, your product already has the latest firmware.
