You may try the following ways to help with the problem:
Option 1: This may due to the fast motion of unplugging the USB connection. Try to reset your player by gently inserting a sharp end object to the “RESET” button, and then transfer songs again using drag and drop method.
Option 2: This may due to the unfinished work of transferring songs by Philips Songbird. Please wait until the “Completed syncing device” message appears before you unplugging your player.
