The shaving unit of the SensoTouch can move in two different ways. (See the picture on the left with the orange details)

• Top: the whole shaving unit can pivot in all directions
• Bottom: the shaving heads tilt to adjust the shape of the shaving unit to the contours of the face. 

The shaving unit of the SensoTouch 3D can move in three different ways. (See the picture on the right with the green details)

• Top: independently moving shaving-head holders
• Bottom left: the whole shaving unit can pivot in all directions
• Bottom right: the independently tilting shaving heads
