Let the appliance cool down for approx. 30 minutes before you clean it.
The pan and the basket walls of the appliance have a non-stick coating. Do not use metal kitchen utensils or abrasive cleaning materials to clean them, as this may damage the non-stick coating.
The pan and the basket are both dishwasher-proof. You can also clean the pan and the basket with hot water, some dishwashing liquid, and a non-abrasive sponge.
Basket bottom: The basket bottom can be cleaned with a brush or a scouring pad.
Note: If you use a scouring pad to clean the mesh of the basket bottom, we advise you to turn the basket upside down during cleaning. This prevents the non-stick coating on the basket walls getting damaged.
The best way to clean the basket is to follow the cleaning steps below:
Tip: If food residue is stuck to the bottom of the pan, you can fill it with hot water and detergent and leave it to soak for 5 to 10 minutes. Soaking will loosen the food residue and will make it easier to remove. The quality of your detergent determines how easy it is to remove food residue and fat. Make sure you use a detergent that can dissolve oil.
If there are fat stains on the pan or the basket and you have not been able to remove them with a suitable detergent, use a liquid degreaser. Follow the instructions on the package.
