To clean the outside surfaces of your AirFloss, follow the instructions in the owner's manual. You can use a damp cloth to gently wipe the external surfaces, but do not use harsh cleaners or alcohol, as these can damage the plastics. If you use your Sonicare AirFloss with water, periodically filling the reservoir with a small amount of mouth rinse and pressing the activation button repeatedly until there is no spray left will help prevent bacteria growth. If you use Sonicare AirFloss with mouth rinse on a daily basis, periodically rinsing the unit with water and allowing it to dry will help to keep the unit from developing a buildup of stickiness or chemicals from the mouth rinse. For more in-depth cleaning, you can easily clean the reservoir as desired using a small cotton swab. Be careful not to leave any particles within the reservoir. Caution: When cleaning or using the AirFloss, do not totally immerse it in water or cleaning solutions. Doing so can be harmful to the product.
