To enable the device plays music tracks according to artist or album, check the following BEFORE the music files are transferred from the Music Library of Philips Songbird to the device:

(A). There is information on “Artist” and “Album” in the metadata of the music file.

1. Start Philips Songbird on the computer.
2. Click on the music file inside the Music Library.
3. Right-click on the title of the music files; select View Metadata. 
   
   
   
4. Enter the relevant information if it is missing. 
   
   
   
5. Repeat with other music files.

(B). Allow Philips Songbird to manage the files.

1. Under the Tools menu, select Options… 
   
   
   
2. On the left of the pop-up box, select Manage Files. 
   
   
   
3. Make sure:
   - The box for “Allow Philips Songbird to manage files” is selected.
   - The folder structure is selected as Artist\Album. 
   
   
   
4. Click on OK and close the pop-up box.
