I have difficulty in pairing the headphones with my iPhone / iPad. What can I do?


Try the following:

Disconnect any Bluetooth-connected device

If your iPhone / iPad is currently paired and connected with another Bluetooth device, any further Bluetooth connection or pairing with another device (e.g., your headphone) is not possible. Therefore, you need to disconnect the Bluetooth connection between the iPhone / iPad and the connected Bluetooth device first:

  1. Go to Settings > Bluetooth on your iPhone / iPad.
  2. If Bluetooth feature of your iPhone / iPad is on, you will see a list of Bluetooth devices that are paired with the iPhone / iPad.
  3. Switch off any device that is labeled as “Connected”. (Alternatively, tap on and then tap on ‘Forget this Device’ to un-pair it from the iPhone / iPad.)

“Forget” devices from iPhone / iPad

If there is no connected Bluetooth device already but pairing is still not successful, “forget” all device from the iPhone / iPad may help.

  1. Repeat Step 1 to 2 above.
  2. Tap on of the device; then tap on “Forget this Device”. Continue with the on-screen instructions to confirm.
  3. Repeat for all other Bluetooth devices that are paired with the iPhone / iPad.

Then, switch on the paring mode of your headphone on and try pairing with your iPhone / iPad again.

If the above does not help; or your headphones cannot go into pairing mode at all, your headphones may be defective.  Contact Philips Consumer Care (Contact Page) for assistance.
