Note: Undock the iPhone or iPod in order to play audio files from an external audio player (e.g.: an MP3 player) through the device.

  1. Connect the supplied MP3 link cable (3.5mm) to:
    • The MP3-LINK socket (3.5mm) of the device.
    • The headphone socket on an external audio player.
  2. Start music playback on the external audio player.
