1. Start Philips Songbird in the computer.
2. Connect your GoGear device to the computer using a USB cable.
3. On the left panel of the Philips Songbird window, click on the name of your device.
    
   
   
4. On the main panel, select Music tab.
   
    
   
5. Select Import music from device.
    
   
   
6. Click Sync.
    
   
   After synchronization, the files would be in the Library of Philips Songbird.
7. If you want to perform a backup for video files, repeat steps 4-6 with the Video tab.

Important: The device is not intended to be used as a memory drive. Storing important files or documents in the device is not recommended.
