The player is not compatible with iPhone 5 or iPod nano 7th generation.

The two Apple devices use Lightning connection. But the player uses 30-pin connection. They cannot be connected directly.

When the player is connected to either of them through a Lightning to 30-pin adapter, there will be only sound but no video or picture displayed. The adapter only works with music enjoyment.
