Question

How to transfer music from my PC to the player by "Drag and drop"?

Answer

  1. Locate your music files in the PC. Usually the files are stored inside a folder called “Music” or “My Music”.
  2. Select the files/folders you want to transfer.
Tip: Press “Ctrl” and “A” keys on the keyboard to select all files in a folder. With “Ctrl” pressed, you can select one or more files/ folders.
  3. Copy the files by right-clicking on the files/folders you want to transfer and select “Copy”.

  4. Connect the player to your PC using a USB cable.
  5. In “My computer” or “Computer”, double-click the icon of the player to open the storage view of your player.

  6. Double-click the folder “Music” under your player to open it.

  7. Right-click at the blank area of the screen. Select “Paste” to paste the music files/folders you just selected.

  8. Depending on the number of music files you are pasting, it may take a while for the music to transfer.

Note:

  • Some music files are copy-right protected and might only be copied to a limited number of devices.
  • Make sure the files that you transfer are in a format supported by your player. Otherwise, those files may not be shown in the player.

If all of the above are tried and checked; but file transfer or playback is still not possible, contact Philips Consumer Care (Contact Page) for assistance.
