The display of my PSA scrolls the error message ¨PLAYER PROBLEM, PLEASE CONNECT PLAYER TO PC, START DEVICE MANAGER ON PC AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS

Answer

A system file may be missing or there is a format error on your PSA. The micro jukebox needs to be restored to the factory settings.


 

  1. Connect the PSA to the power supply with the AC/DC adapter and to the computer with the provided USB cable. Make sure that Windows Media Player and any other applications are closed.
     
  2. Launch the Philips Device Manager by double clicking the Device Manager icon at the task bar on your Windows desktop..
     
  3. Select the REPAIR tab on the dialogue box and then click Repair to start repairing. IMPORTANT: All music & content of your micro jukebox will be erased once the PSA is repaired.


     
  4. Once the repair is complete a dialogue box will pop up; click OK and unplug the PSA from the computer.
