Question

I can not connect to my WiFi network.: Your encryption settings are incorrect.

Answer

If your SSID is correct, but your encryption settings are incorrect, you will get signal strenght, but you're not connected to the network. To fix the problem make sure you enter the correct encryption settings. Encryption settings can be:
  • WEP (open system keys only) 128 bit of 64 bit, using passkey (not passphrase).
  • WPA.
In all cases, the key provided needs to match exactly the key used in the Wireless Access Point.
