How to program the television for digital recording?
In digital mode, press the bookmark button (symbol: an open book) on the remote control to display the TV guide menu.
Press the cursor down button to select a programme that you wish to record and press the red button to call the record menu.
Press the cursor down button to select the settings and press the cursor right button to enter the sub menu to make your settings and press the ‘OK’ button to confirm.
ENTER YOUR PIN CODE IF LOCK: Enter your personal pin code if the selected programme is locked and press the ‘OK’ button to confirm. Note: If you have forgotten your personal pin code, enter the universal code (0711).
DAY & MONTH / START TIME / END TIME: Your television will automatically set the date and time of the programme by taking the information from the TV guide menu. If you still wish to change the settings, you can do so manually using the ‘0-9’ button and then press the ‘OK’ button to confirm.
AUDIO LANGUAGE / SUBTITLE LANGUAGE: Select the language of the programme as desired and press the ‘OK’ button to confirm. Note: If the language selected is not available for a programme, the default will be set to English.
SUBTITLES FOR HEARING IMPAIRED: Option to includes a setting for hearing impaired. That means that the subtitles will also include descriptive text, such as telling the viewer where is the laughter or applause.
OCCURRENCE: Select the recording frequency of the programme you wish to record and press the ‘OK’ button to confirm.
Press the red button to store your recording, then press the ‘OK’ button to accept and the TV guide menu will be displayed.
Press the green button to display the list of recordings you have set or press the blue button to exit the menu.
Do not switch off the television with the main power button when a recording is activated, but use the standby button on the remote control.
You will not be able to watch a digital channel when recording is in progress except the analogue channels.
