Instructions for connecting the video recorder (such as VCR, DVD recorder, etc) to the television for recording.

Unplug the TV and video recorder before you make any connection. 
 
Recording via the coaxial cable

  1. Connect the open end of the coaxial cable (1) to the antenna input on the back of the video recorder.
  2. Use another coaxial cable (2), connect one end to the antenna output on the back of the video recorder and the other end to the antenna input on the back of the television.
  3. Switch on the video recorder, if applicable, set the output channel to CH3 or 4.
  4. Switch on the TV and tune to the same channel as the video recorder.
  5. Change the channels at the video recorder to select the program you wish to record.
  6. Insert a VHS tape (for VCR) or DVDRW disc (for DVD recorder) to the video recorder and now it is ready to record.

Record what you see on the TV screen

  1. Use a video cable (3), connect one end to the video input jack of the video recorder and the other end to the 'MONITOR OUT VIDEO' on the back of the television.
  2. Use a audio cable (4), connect one end to the audio right and left input jacks of the video recorder and connect the other end to the 'MONITOR OUT AUDIO L' and 'R' jacks on the back of the television.
  3. Switch on the TV and tune to a channel you wish to record.
  4. Switch on the video recorder and select the input to which the television is connected.
  5. Insert a VHS tape (for VCR) or DVDRW disc (for DVD recorder) into the video recorder.
  6. Now it is ready to record what is being viewed on the TV screen.
