How to set date/time.

Answer

Automatic

  1. Press SYSTEM MENU. may be selected. If it is not, press to select it.

  2. Press repeatedly to select , then press to enter the Installation menu.

  3. Press repeatedly to select Time/Date, then press .

  4. Press to choose Automatic, then press .

  5. With PBS Channel selected, press to choose the channel number of your PBS station, then press OK. The menu will pause while the setting is stored.

  6. Press to choose Daylight Saving. Press  to choose On, Off, or Auto, then press OK.

  7. Press to choose Time Zone. Press  repeatedly to choose your time zone, then press OK.

  8. Press SYSTEM MENU repeatedly to remove the menus, then press ON/OFF to turn off the Recorder. After a few minutes, the correct time will appear on the Recorder’s display.

 

Manual

  1. Press SYSTEM MENU. may be selected. If it is not, press to select it.

  2. Press repeatedly to select , then press to enter the Installation menu.

  3. Press repeatedly to select Time/Date, then press .

  4. Press to choose Manual, then press .

  5. Time will be highlighted. Press to choose the correct time in hours and minutes, then press OK. Or, press the Number buttons to quickly enter the time in hours and minutes, then press OK.

  6. Press to choose AM/PM, then press  to choose AM or PM. Press OK. The menu will pause while the setting is stored.

  7. Press to choose Year, then press  to choose the current year. Press OK. The menu will pause while the setting is stored.

  8. Press to choose Month, then press  to choose the current month. Press OK. The menu will pause while the setting is stored.

  9. Press to choose Date, then press to choose the current date. Press OK. The menu will pause while the setting is stored.

  10. Press to choose Daylight Saving, then press to choose On, Off, or Auto. Press OK. The menu will pause while the setting is stored.

  11. Press SYSTEM MENU repeatedly to remove all menus.
