I notice that the UHF panel antenna can be rotated vertically and horizontally - what is the purpose for this?

Normally the UHF antenna should be horizontal for best reception

- However in some countries in areas that are hard to reach - broadcasters have set up small low powered transmitters to fill in reception areas. This may happen for example in valleys. These secondary transmitters send the signal in a way that is may be received better if the antenna mounted horizontally.

To adjust, tilt the UHF panel back slightly and rotate the panel CLOCKWISE Until it is vertical.
