What if a download fails and the configuration file does not appear on the Control Panel?
Windows has a problem with mapping a mass-storage device to a drive letter in the case were there is no free drive letter available in front of the first mapped network drive. In this case the mass-storage device will become mapped on the same drive as this network drive. Because the Control Panel becomes a mass-storage device in communication mode, a downloaded file might be copied to the network drive instead of to the Control Panel.
This can be prevented by manually mapping the Control Panel to a free drive letter.
Use 'My Computer' - Manage - Disk Management, to change the drive letter.
