I'm unable to communicate with my extender. How do I fix this?


  • In stand-alone mode, make sure that the extenders are in the same stand-alone channel (1, 2 or 3) as the one specified in the configuration file.
  • Make sure there are no duplicate extender IDs on the same channel (in stand-alone mode) or on the same subnet (in network mode). If duplicate extenders are detected, the control panel will not communicate with either of them.
  • When installing larger setups (multiple rooms, multiple control panels, or multiple extenders), network robustness can be improved by using network mode (using one or more access points) instead of stand-alone mode.
    When using network mode, if possible, try to connect the extender using wired ethernet to the network.
