Why is my player not detected by the device manager?


  • You may have selected Cancel when the Found New Hardware wizard appeared when first connecting the device to your PC in recovery mode.
    • For the device manager to detect the unit, run the device detection patch, located in the attachment of the FAQs "My player is not recognized by PC," and try connecting the device again to the PC while pressing and holding the key to enter recovery mode.
