How to repair my device using Device Manager?

Note: By performing a repair, all data & settings in your device will be erased.

Repair function can be performed sometimes even when the PC doesn’t detect the player. Follow the steps below:

  1. In your PC, go to Start > Programs > Philips Digital Audio Player > SA2xxx > Philips SA2xxx Device Manager to launch Philips Device Manager.
  2. Connect the player to the PC.
  3. Device Manager will detect your player and automatically go into recovery mode.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
  5. After the player has been repaired, disconnect your player from your PC.

If repairing does not work, charge the player for no less than 20 hours. By performing this, it recovers 80% of the unresponsive players.
