Question

There is no internet connection after a successful installation of the Wireless Base Station. Are there settings I can change to make the connection work?

Answer

Depending on your Internet Service Provider (ISP) it can be necessary to clone the hostname or the MAC address of your pc.
Follow the steps below to change these settings.

Step 1: Clone the hostname and MAC address
Open your Internet browser and login to the Philips Wireless Base Station.
In the left-hand menu click on Internet Settings.
Click on Dynamic IP address and click the Next button.
Now click on both buttons Clone Host Name and Clone MAC address.

Step 2: Ask for an IP address
Open your Internet browser and login to the Philips Wireless Base Station.
On the status screen, check if there is a WAN IP address under Internet (your IP could be different than the one shown below). If so, you're done.


If not, press the Renew button under Internet and now there should be a WAN IP (Press function key F5 a number of times to refresh the page).



If there still is no WAN IP, check the MAC settings or contact your ISP.
