Question

Why is there no sound when the Play button is pressed on my digital audio player?

Answer

  • Your battery may be dead. Recharge the battery through your computer’s USB port.
  • Check whether your headphone plug has been fully inserted into the unit's headphone jack
  • When you press the Play button, make sure it is pressed and held until the display lights up
  • Check that the volume is at an audible level. Increase the volume using the Volume +button.
  • If your player is in pause mode, press the Play button to resume playback.
  • Do a soft reset by inserting a sharp object into the reset pinhole of your player until it switches off.
  • If nothing works:
    1. Start Device Manager.
    2. Connect the player to your PC with the supplied USB cable WHILE holding down the Play key.
    3. Device Manager should acknowledge your player and automatically goes into recovery mode.
    4. Follow the instructions of the Device Manager.
    5. After the player has been repaired, remove it from your PC and restart.
