How do I use Windows Media Player to create and transfer a playlist to my player?

  1. Start Windows Media Player.
  2. Switch on your player, and then connect it to your computer using the supplied USB cable.
  3. Click the Sync tab.
  4. Drag the files and playlists you want to sync from the Contents pane to the Sync List pane. You can also right-click the file or playlist and select Add to Sync List.
  5. In the Sync List pane, verify that the items you have selected to sync will all fit on your player. If necessary, remove items from the list.
  6. To remove an item, right-click the item in the Sync List pane, and then select Remove From List.
  7. Click Start Sync button to transfer the Sync List items to your player.

Transfer with Windows Media Player 10

  1. Playlists can only be synchronized to your player using auto sync. Auto sync will automatically synchronize your Windows Media Player library content and your player content each time you connect your player to the PC. If you use the manual sync option, the tracks in the playlist will transfer to your player, but the playlist itself will not.
  2. Connect the player to the computer, allow a few minutes for Windows Media Player to recognize and detect the connection of the player.
  3. Click the Sync tab.
  4. Click Sync Settings or Set Up Sync
  5. In the pop-up window, select the playlists you want to sync.
  6. Click OK; the sync will start automatically.

Note: Playlists never display in the device panel under the Sync tab of Windows Media Player, even if they are on your device. Check whether you can see the playlist on your device.
