Question

How can I improve and solve the problems I have with the picture quality on only one or a few channels of my TV?

Answer

If the picture quality is not good on only one or a few channels the problem is with the reception or the broadcasting quality of these channels.

  • Fine tune the analogue channel(s). Fine tuning can be useful when the frequency has shifted a bit or when interference of another frequency occurs.
  1. Press 'MENU TV' button on the remote control. The main menu appears. If the menu does not appear press A/D button first.
  2. Select INSTALLATION and press cursor right. The installation menu appears.
  3. Select MANUAL STORE and press cursor right. The manual store menu appears.
  4. Select FINE TUNE and press the cursor right/cursor left to fine tune the programme.
  5. Select STORE if you want to store the (fine tuned) frequency under the current channel number.
  6. Press cursor right.
  7. Press 'i+' button to exit the menu.

  • Test the reception of digital channel(s):
  1. Press 'DIGITAL MENU' on the remote control of the TV. The set up menu appears. If it does not appear: press A/D button and press DIGITAL MENU.
  2. Select INSTALLATION and press the right cursor button. The installation menu appears.
  3. Select TEST RECEPTION and press the right cursor button. The test reception menu appears.
  4. Enter the frequency of the channel with bad reception. A message appears.
  5. Follow the instructions on screen.
  6. Press DIGITAL MENU to exit the menu.
