Question

Why won't my disk play on the DVD player?

Answer

  • The disk has been entered into the player upside down. Ensure the disk label is upwards.
  • The contents of the disk are not supported by the player. Try another disk.
  • The disk is heavily scratched. Try another disk.
  • The disk is dirty. Try another disk or clear the disk. (See below to learn how to clean a disk properly.)
  • The region code of the disk does not match your local area. Make sure the disk matches your local area.
