Why can't my disc be played on the DVD player?

Answer

  • The disc is put into the player upside down. Ensure the disc label is upwards.
  • Contents in the disc are not supported by the player. Try another disc.
  • The disc is heavily scratched. Try another disc.
  • The disc is dirty. Try another disc or clear disc. (See below to know how to clean disc properly.)
  • The region code of the disc deos not match your local area. Make sure the disc match your local area.
