Why am I not able to access the parental rating menu with my personal 4-digit access code?

Answer

  • Ensure that you have entered the correct 4-digit access code. If you have forgotten the access code, follow the procedure below to reset your access code.
     
  • Parental rating mode is not set in the CHILD LOCK menu. To set the parental rating, proceed as follows:
     
    1. Press the button on the remote control to access the home menu.
    2. Use the cursor button to select SETUP and press the 'OK' button to confirm.
    3. Press the cursor down to select FEATURES and press the cursor right.
    4. Press the cursor down to select CHILD LOCK and press the cursor right.
    5. When the prompt ENTER CODE appears on the screen, enter your personal 4-digit access code to access the child lock menu.
    6. Press the cursor down to select PARENTAL RATING.
    7. Press the 'OK' button to confirm and it will automatically exit the child lock menu.
    8. Press the cursor down to select PARENTAL RATING and press the cursor right.
    9. When the prompt ENTER CODE appears on the screen, enter your personal 4-digit access code to access the parental rating menu.
    10. Select the rating of your choice and press the 'OK' button to confirm.
    11. Press the 'BACK' button to exit the menu.

To change the 4-digit access code if it is unknown or forgotten:

  1. Press the button on the remote control to access the home menu.
  2. Use the cursor button to select SETUP and press the 'OK' button to confirm.
  3. Press the cursor down to select FEATURES and press the cursor right.
  4. Press the cursor down to select CHANGE CODE and press the cursor right.
  5. When the prompt CURRENT CODE appears on the screen, enter the universal code '8888'.
  6. Then enter an easily remembered new 4-digit access code and enter the new code a second time for confirmation.
  7. Press the 'BACK' button to exit the menu.
