I inserted my CAM (CI module) but there was no reaction, what could be wrong?

Answer

First, please verify that you have a compatible CI or CI+ module.
• If you wish to know which module is compatible with your TV, you may contact the dealer or service provider and check whether there is a compatibility list for the CAM (CI module) you wants to use.

Due to the fast evolution of standards in these CAM (CI modules), make sure that you use the latest CAM (CI module) and that your TV has the latest software installed.
• You can find the latest TV Firmware Upgrade Software and Readme File documents on the Philips support website.  
Refer to the SOFTWARE & DRIVERS section.
• Follow the instructions in the user manual or the readme file of the Firmware Upgrade on how to upgrade the software of your TV.
• Verify with your service provider that you have the latest CAM.

If the problem persists you may have inserted the CAM (CI module) in the wrong way.  
If the CAM (CI module) is not inserted correctly, the COMMON INTERFACE menu will not be displayed on the TV menu.

IMPORTANT: Read the instructions provided by your service provider on how to set up the CAM (CI module) before connecting to the TV.
