Make sure the socket to which you connect the appliance is live.
Check whether the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage.
Check whether the plug has been inserted into the charging stand properly.
If you use a socket in a bathroom cabinet, you may need to switch on the light to activate the socket.
