When I switched on the kettle, a fuse blew (or the lights went out). What is wrong?


You may have connected too many appliances to the same circuit. Check whether you have connected too many other appliances to the same circuit (consult an electrician in case of doubt). After you have unplugged the other appliances, plug the kettle in again to check whether the fuse cuts off the power supply again.
If this doesn’t work, we advise you to take the kettle to your dealer or to a Philips service centre.
