Yes, DECT is safe for your child.
DECT stands for Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunication. DECT operates using radio signals (electromagnetic waves). Comprehensive international guidelines exist, governing exposure to radio waves. These guidelines have been widely adopted in standards and also endorsed by the World Health Organization (WHO). DECT products are subject to these standards. The standards take the safety of children into account by providing substantial margins of safety. The general public limits comprise individuals of all ages (e.g. adults, children and babies) and of varying health status, and may include particularly susceptible groups or individuals. Due to the very low output power, the radio wave exposure from DECT is far below the established limits.
