It is vital that you only use the light intensity recommended for your skin/hair type.
To avoid undesired skin reactions, first check the skin tone/hair color chart (see user manual) and then start with the lowest recommended intensity. If all goes well, increase gradually. If the treatment feels uncomfortable, reduce the intensity. The treatment should not feel painful at any time. Different areas of the body can be more sensitive than others. Simply adapt the intensity according to the sensation you experience. Because skin color can differ between body areas and might become darker after tanning, please check the table again for each specific use and area.
