Question

Why can’t I establish a connection? Why is the connection lost every now and then? Why are there sound interruptions?

Answer

  • The baby unit and the parent unit are probably close to the outer limits of the operating range or there is interference from other 2.4 GHz wireless devices. Try a different location, decrease the distance between the units or switch off other 2.4 GHz wireless devices (laptops, mobile phones, microwaves, etc) . It can take up to 10 seconds before the connection between the units is reestablished
  • If the signal is lost, then the parent unit will make a beeping sound (3 quick beeps every 20 seconds).
  • The baby and parent unit might be too close to each other, keep them at least 1.5 meters/ 5 feet away from each other to prevent interference.
